Midnight Corkbird

This corkboard was a gift for my little sister.

The Supplies:
  • sturdy kind of paper (I used an old school folder)
  • patterned paper
  • lace
  • rubber cement
  • blue paint
  • plastic white gems
  • corkboard

The How To:
  1. Paint the corkboard.
  2. While it dries, cut out a template of a bird.
  3. Trace bird onto patterned paper and cut out birds.
  4. Use rubber cement to glue lace onto corkboard (as the telephone line) and then glue birds pirched on line.
  5. Lastly, glue the gems to look like stars.

After this picture, I also added black dots as eyes for the birds. And the bird template has proven useful for other projects. I'm sure you'll see.
